Highfields began serving youth in 1967. Its programs offer a variety of services designed to assist youth to be responsible for their behavior. Some services can be accessed directly by contacting Highfields, others must be accessed through a County Court or the Department of Human Service. - All services are licensed and/or accredited.
- Services provide opportunities that engage youth and their families in strengthening relationships through guidance and self-awareness.
- Using a reality-based, goal-oriented and activity-centered approach, services include family counseling, group and individual counseling and are provided in a highly structured, supervised format.
Training and Development (Breakthrough) - Available to groups, individuals and families (fee for group service). Short Term Residential (Phoenix Program) - For boys age 12-17, open referral in lower Michigan (per diem for service). (Average length of stay is 6-months) Short Term Residential (Respite/Stabilization Program) - For boys age 12-17, open referral in lower Michigan (per diem for service). (14-90 Day Program.) Summer Camp - Available for groups of children (fee for group). |
