Parenting Education is an evidence-based program consisting of two components: a computer-based curriculum and in-home counseling. The curriculum provides parenting education for parents of children or teens, ages three-17. It helps to educate parents with the goal of improving parent-child relationships. The program is proven to help reduce family conflict and child behavior problems.
Parenting Education is available in Hillsdale, Jackson and Ingham counties. In Jackson and Hillsdale counties, referrals are make through LifeWays Community Mental Health. In Ingham County, families are referred to Highfields through the Department of Health and Human Services.
