In-Home Services is an evidence-based program consisting of two components: a computer-based curriculum and in-home counseling. The curriculum provides parenting education for parents of children or teens, ages three-17. It helps to educate parents with the goal of improving parent-child relationships. The program is proven to help reduce family conflict and child behavior problems.
In-Home Services is available in Hillsdale, Branch and Ingham counties. In Branch and Hillsdale counties, referrals are made through LifeWays Community Mental Health. In Ingham County, families are referred to Highfields through the Department of Health and Human Services.
The services provided helped me not only to grow as a parent figure but as a person.

As soon as we started we immediately saw improvement. Our counselor was very patient, kind, helpful and willing to listen. Now not only have we implemented all the practices but we are all much happier and even the kids have noticed a major change in us. We are very grateful for Highfields. – Parenting Wisely Parent
