In-Home Family Services is a program that offers parenting skills and prevention services that are provided to parents, primary caregivers and foster parents who are responsible for the care and supervision of minor children. The In-Home Family Service workers work directly in the home to assist them in the development of parenting and life skills, family relationships, self-care and bonding activities. The In-Home Family workers work closely with DHHS and other community support to strengthen the family by connecting them with local resources and community services.
In-Home Services are available in Hillsdale, Branch and Ingham counties. Families are referred to Highfields through the Department of Health and Human Services.
